A collision led to Golden Glory getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Urbano Toribio hit a great ball. Emiliano Loramendis short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Honorio Cisco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Emiliano Loramendi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorio Cisco was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. If Santiago Reno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 84 minutes, Rodrigo Primeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Glory's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Primeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xeneize Jrs.'s goalkeeper Freddy Atauri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Golden Glory players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Xeneize Jrs..
