Eugenio Gimenez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremias Lemus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. When Frank Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the PARALITICOS F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Murillo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Barrial FC booed when PARALITICOS F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tito Chaverri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, PARALITICOS F.C.'s Manfredo Quintal got a free kick in the 15th minute. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Lisandro Monico sped through PARALITICOS F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jeremias Lemus. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Frank Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. PARALITICOS F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cirilo Tab breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeremias Lemus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Monico, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Frank Murillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cirilo Tab. That made the score 1-2 in the 26 minute of play. Frank Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Cirilo Tab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Barrial FC's Lisandro Monico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeremias Lemus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After 40 minutes, Silverio Rico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PARALITICOS F.C. and the Barrial FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silverio Rico kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Lisandro Monico scored 1-4 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeremias Lemus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raul Naelio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Eugenio Gimenez notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of PARALITICOS F.C.'s Jeremias Lemus. Jeremias Lemus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. PARALITICOS F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eugenio Gimenez 56 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-6. Jeremias Lemus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugenio Gimenez's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, Tito Chaverri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugenio Gimenez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Lemus having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Barrial FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Pacorro to maneuver through the defense. Eugenio Gimenez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jeremias Lemus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Barrial FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Pacorro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Gimenez in the 78th minute of play forced PARALITICOS F.C.'s goalkeeper Jeremias Lemus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Eugenio Gimenez took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Jeremias Lemus to make any attempt to save it. In the 90thth minute of the game Eugenio Gimenez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PARALITICOS F.C.'s Jeremias Lemus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 93 played minutes Barrial FC got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Gimenez. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Barrial FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
