Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guaberto Isidor started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Gustavo Arias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gil AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Licha Lopez F.C. the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, Gil AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Arias to maneuver through the defense. Hermengildo Tohias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Isidor in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute Licha Lopez F.C. were awarded a corner. Antonio Tauro went to the cornerflag to take it. Guaberto Isidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Hermengildo Tohias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ulises Isauro came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Licha Lopez F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Isauro couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Guaberto Isidor sped through Gil AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hermengildo Tohias. 21 minutes into the match, Licha Lopez F.C.'s Guaberto Isidor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hermengildo Tohias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gil AFC's Gustavo Arias got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ulises Isauro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Licha Lopez F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Isauro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Tohias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28 minutes, Silvano Ostots mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gil AFC and the Licha Lopez F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silvano Ostots kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Isidor in the 30th minute of play forced Gil AFC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Tohias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Lluis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Licha Lopez F.C.'s Nestor Amaya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Licha Lopez F.C. from getting a goal against them. Guaberto Isidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Tohias having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gil AFC's zone, Ulises Isauro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermengildo Tohias came out of the goal and Ulises Isauro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Saturnino Sansone made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Licha Lopez F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Sansone came free, but Nestor Amaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gil AFC's Hermengildo Tohias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Isidor in the 53rd minute of play. When Silvano Ostots was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 54 minutes had been played. Silvano Ostots hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Hermengildo Tohias made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Ulises Isauro sent off a good shot on target. Gil AFC's Hermengildo Tohias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Gil AFC from getting a goal against them. If Guaberto Isidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Isauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Tohias having to interfere. Guaberto Isidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Saturnino Sansone hit a great ball. Ivan Lluis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. When Ciro Bertol fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Licha Lopez F.C.'s protests and gave Ciro Bertol a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Licha Lopez F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Bertol to maneuver through the defense. In the 75thth minute of the game Ivan Lluis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Licha Lopez F.C.'s Nestor Amaya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antonio Tauro hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Jairo Bonadona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulises Isauro took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermengildo Tohias. Hermengildo Tohias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Aurelio Txurio charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelio Txurio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hermengildo Tohias had in the 98thth minute some difficulties stopping Antonio Tauro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Licha Lopez F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
