Edgard Birjaio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Ricardo Savion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ceferino Gustau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Savion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Gustau having to interfere. Ignacio Steven kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Samuel Martxot took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eustaquio Balasi. Sportivo Camello's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 43rd play minutes Ricardo Savion shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Ceferino Gustau and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Deportivo Residentes getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Samuel Martxot hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgard Birjaio to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Deportivo Residentes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Lorenz to maneuver through the defense. In the 58thth minute of the game Ricardo Savion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Residentes's Ceferino Gustau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Savion's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ceferino Gustau was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. The supporters of Sportivo Camello booed when Deportivo Residentes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Haitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Savion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Gustau having to interfere. Marcelino Inge hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Benicio Orlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingo Tolino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sportivo Camello players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Residentes.
