Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Guido Naldo got the match started through his kick off. Alberto Di Matteo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Liher in the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Ciro Lucado notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Franklin AFC's Samuel Esiquio. Samuel Esiquio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Franklin AFC's Samuel Esiquio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Naldo in the 10th minute of play. Samuel Esiquio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Naldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Samuel Esiquio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Lucado in the 17th minute of play. When Carolo Liher fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Franklin AFC's protests and gave Carolo Liher a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Franklin AFC's Carolo Liher got a free kick in the 20th minute. Samuel Esiquio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Nataniel in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Carolo Liher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Di Matteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Eloy Mundo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Franklin AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Alberto Di Matteo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eloy Mundo went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Franklin AFC booed when El Eje del Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Abeijon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Franklin AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Naldo came free, but Samuel Esiquio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Franklin AFC's Gilberto Jerico seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gilberto Jerico the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Franklin AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gilberto Jerico had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 44 minutes into the game, one of Franklin AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ingmar Gunnarsson walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eloy Mundo to make the kick off. Ciro Lucado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Samuel Esiquio came out and tried to block the shot, but Ciro Lucado slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 51st minute. 61 minutes into the match, Franklin AFC's goalkeeper Samuel Esiquio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guido Naldo. After a rather tough play, El Eje del Norte's Tobias Abeijon got a free kick in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Lucado in the 68th minute of play forced Franklin AFC's goalkeeper Samuel Esiquio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in El Eje del Norte fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! Alberto Di Matteo had in the 71stth minute some difficulties stopping Alonzo Oliviero's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Franklin AFC's goalkeeper Samuel Esiquio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guido Naldo. In the 82nd match minute, El Eje del Norte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Nahia to maneuver through the defense. Alonzo Oliviero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alberto Di Matteo. El Eje del Norte's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Guido Naldo came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Samuel Esiquio could save by the left post. Samuel Esiquio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Lucado, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Samuel Esiquio was a little too slow when Guido Naldo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 2-3. Guido Naldos short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Samuel Esiquio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Franklin AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. El Eje del Norte were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
