After 19 played minutes Arsenal FC got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Kauldi. After 22 minutes Arsenal FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oscar Loi who took care of the corner kick. Jonatan Nalo tried in the game's 22nd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Severo Berenguer. An annoying self made goal, 1-0. The Barracas Central fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Barracas Central's Oscar Benet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A throw-in in the 34th minute of the game was made by Jaime Sol with Freddy Kauldi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 41 minutes, Simon Todor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barracas Central and the Arsenal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Arsenal FC booed when Barracas Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Todor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Frantzes charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Frantzes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Severo Berenguer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barracas Central. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luciano Darien made a kick off. The throw-in from Eliseo Gartxot in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Arsenal FC's Bernabe Soter. After 55 played minutes Freddy Kauldi rounded Barracas Central's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Barracas Central's zone, Luciano Darien stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paolo Perez came out of the goal and Luciano Darien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Oscar Benet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsenal FC's Bernabe Soter got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd match minute, Barracas Central was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Tadzio to maneuver through the defense.
