Carpintería's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eloy Resto F.C. the free kick. Maximo Ranolfo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Rosendo Sugar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Bladi in the 38th minute of play. Rosendo Sugar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Micael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leandro Micael took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rosendo Sugar. Rosendo Sugar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Jaime Fortun made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Carpintería's zone, Jaime Fortun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Oihenarte came out of the goal and Jaime Fortun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Eloy Resto F.C.'s Rosendo Sugar got control of the ball when Luisito Bladi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Conrado Fernanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luisito Bladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Leandro Micael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Sugar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conrado Fernanco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th match minute, Eloy Resto F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Mel to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th match minute, Carpintería was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Ranolfo to maneuver through the defense. Paulino Oihenarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Fernanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Conrado Fernanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Oihenarte having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Jaime Fortun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Paulino Oihenarte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Conrado Fernanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
