After having played for 3 minutes, Manuel Mikeldi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olimpija FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Mikeldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 6 played minutes Olimpija FC got a freekick which was hit by Felix Cordarryl. In the 7th minute of the match, Natalio Honrio sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Severiano Guib showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Ceferino Rodriguez's late challenge caught a Olimpija FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceferino Rodriguez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, Manuel Mikeldi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Anillaco's Ivan Froylan didn't even have to move. Olimpija FC's Severiano Guib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Jeraldo in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Anillaco's Bernabe Jeraldo got a free kick in the 13th minute. Severiano Guib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Kinsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saul Lizbeth's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Ivan Froylan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 26 minutes into the match, Bernabe Jeraldo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severiano Guib. Olimpija FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernabe Jeraldo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Anillaco's Ivan Froylan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Anillaco from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Kinsen in the 32nd minute of play forced Olimpija FC's goalkeeper Severiano Guib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Saul Lizbeth put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ivan Froylan. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Lizbeth in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Froylan saved Anillaco from getting behind. In the 42nd match minute, Anillaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Jeraldo to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Bernabe Jeraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Guib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saul Lizbeth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Anillaco's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Lizbeth came free, but Ivan Froylan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severiano Guib made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernabe Jeraldo in the 56th minute. After 57 played minutes Olimpija FC got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Fe. In the 58th minute Tadeo Sindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Guib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severiano Guib made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernabe Jeraldo in the 64th minute. When Leandro Pacho fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anillaco's protests and gave Leandro Pacho a yellow card for diving instead. Leandro Pacho kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When Olimpija FC's Saul Lizbeth in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Anillaco's goalie prevented a goal. Ivan Froylan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Lizbeth, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. David Johans scored 2-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Froylan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saul Lizbeth in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Froylan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeo Sindo got free with Severiano Guib in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 87 minutes into the game, Casimiro Balesio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olimpija FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anillaco the free kick. After 88 played minutes Olimpija FC got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Balesio. Severiano Guib came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Anillaco's Virgilio Kinsen. But to his dismay, Virgilio Kinsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Anillaco's Ivan Froylan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Lizbeth in the 95th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
