Spectators: 7410 (Terracing: 5558, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulo Ezkerra started the match with the kick off. Gaylord Pika showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Ezkerra in the 3rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Calabacercio FC's zone, Alfonso Ekain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Carlomagno came out of the goal and Alfonso Ekain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Ekain in the 13th minute of play forced Calabacercio FC's goalkeeper Victor Carlomagno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot by Marcelo Ilazki from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Victor Carlomagno's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 23 minutes, Paulo Ezkerra made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Universidad Buenos Aires's Gaylord Pika tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Ezkerra in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaylord Pika saved Universidad Buenos Aires from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Universidad Buenos Aires's Ciriaco Martinez got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 34th minute Paulo Ezkerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaylord Pika saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Oliverio charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Oliverio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Calabacercio FC's Oscar Oliverio got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Platon Odyntsov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 41 minutes, Augusto Pietro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calabacercio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Pietro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfonso Ekain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaylord Pika didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Pietro went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfonso Ekain made a kick off. Calabacercio FC's Paulo Ezkerra got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Universidad Buenos Aires getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Victorino Mon hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Ezkerra got free with Gaylord Pika in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Universidad Buenos Aires's Gaylord Pika proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Universidad Buenos Aires from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd match minute, Universidad Buenos Aires was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Martinez to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Ezkerra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Gaylord Pika skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Paulo Ezkerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Calabacercio FC's Paulo Ezkerra came free and shot a quick shot against goal 71 minutes in the game, fortunately Gaylord Pika had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Calabacercio FC's Victor Carlomagno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Lander in the 78th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Alfonso Ekain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Universidad Buenos Aires's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Ekain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Carlomagno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Augusto Pietro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaylord Pika having to make a save. After 86 played minutes Universidad Buenos Aires got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Ekain. Gaylord Pika acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 88th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Arnaldo Lamberto. Gaylord Pika made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Paulo Ezkerra sent off a good shot on target. Universidad Buenos Aires's Victorino Mon got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Ekain in the 96th minute of play forced Calabacercio FC's goalkeeper Victor Carlomagno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calabacercio FC played a much better game than Universidad Buenos Aires and deserved their victory. The Universidad Buenos Aires players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
