Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Independiente's Bernardo Pirmin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pastor Toli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pastor Toli got free with Jacobo Lucero in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute, Nikolas Egomitis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 14 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Sanson. In the 16th minute, ChaPa Team's Hilario Goizeder ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacobo Lucero. Jacobo Lucero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 29th minute, Evelio Maju hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Lucero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Seguinus in the 34th minute. After 34 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Gora. Hilario Goizeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Lucero having to interfere. In the 40th minute Hilario Goizeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Lucero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Seguinus came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jacobo Lucero could save by the left post. After 45 minutes, Aaron Gora mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independiente and the ChaPa Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

ChaPa Team were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Independiente's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carmelo Bakar took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Carmelo Bakar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jacobo Lucero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 56 minutes into the game, Independiente's Bernardo Pirmin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aristides Nerio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Hilario Goizeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Lucero having to interfere. When Orlando Seguinus came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the ChaPa Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Seguinus couldn't finish the play. Carmelo Bakar didn't quite understand what happened when in the 65 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Hilario Goizeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Lucero having to interfere. Orlando Seguinus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Sanson might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aristides Nerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Sanson ran back to his position shaking his head. Independiente's Jacobo Lucero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Seguinus in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Hilario Goizeder notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Independiente's Jacobo Lucero. Jacobo Lucero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hilario Goizeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Lucero having to interfere. Jacobo Lucero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlando Seguinus's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando Seguinus in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Lucero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 95 played minutes, ChaPa Team's Lisandro Martínez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacobo Lucero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ChaPa Team reached it. There was no doubt that ChaPa Team were the better team. ChaPa Team's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
