The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Saul Maiorga charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saul Maiorga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cirilo Lixandro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saul Maiorga went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cirilo Lixandro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Hori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cirilo Lixandro came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Quemeros's Saul Maiorga. But to his dismay, Saul Maiorga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Los Quemeros's Saul Maiorga got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Saul Maiorga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cirilo Lixandro. Goleadores's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saul Maiorga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Los Quemeros made a substitution. Feliciano Elia replaced Felix Argi. In the 23rd match minute, Los Quemeros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Txeru to maneuver through the defense. Diego Medina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Aristides Quilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Eugenio Onbera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute of the match Astor Peruxu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aristides Quilo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Los Quemeros booed when Goleadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Illan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Goleadores's Cirilo Lixandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Maiorga in the 45th minute of play. After 47 played minutes, Los Quemeros's Rolando Orlandus shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cirilo Lixandro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Quemeros reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.
The wind increased when Saul Maiorga made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Maiorga in the 52nd minute of play forced Goleadores's goalkeeper Cirilo Lixandro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Goleadores's goalkeeper Cirilo Lixandro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Hori. Leonel Hori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Saul Maiorga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saul Maiorga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Lixandro having to interfere. Goleadores's Cirilo Lixandro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Goleadores from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Los Quemeros booed when Goleadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Artal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cirilo Lixandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Maiorga, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Cirilo Lixandro was a little too slow when Saul Maiorga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-6. Saul Maiorga was extremely unlucky when he, in the 67th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Los Quemeros getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Leonel Hori hit a great ball. Astor Peruxu hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Leonel Hori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Lixandro having to interfere. Goleadores's Cirilo Lixandro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Goleadores from getting a goal against them. Ladislao Maiorga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Cirilo Lixandro made a huge save. 95 minutes into the match, Goleadores's goalkeeper Cirilo Lixandro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Hori. Los Quemeros's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
