In the 13th minute Saverio Cordarrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomero Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Apolo Gabino's late challenge caught a Fighiera FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Apolo Gabino helped the player get up and apologised.
