Hermengildo Medero did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Alfonso Evangelista 12 minutes into the match. Alfonso Evangelista made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Hermengildo Medero sent off a good shot on target. After 27 played minutes Chaleco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Mundine. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saverio Mercurio in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florencio Caetano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Hermengildo Medero sped through el más grande's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alfonso Evangelista. Florencio Caetano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Mercurio, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 37th minute, Antonio Mundine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saverio Mercurio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chaleco AFC's Florencio Caetano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Mercurio in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Egun in the 46th minute of play forced Chaleco AFC's goalkeeper Florencio Caetano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hermengildo Medero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florencio Caetano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Mercurio in the 76th minute of the match. Chaleco AFC made a substitution. Jacobo Gervaso replaced Hermengildo Medero. Fermin Jerardo charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fermin Jerardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 played minutes el más grande got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Jerardo. A collision led to Chaleco AFC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Marco Beltran hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Santos Medero managed to get in a good position for a shot. el más grande's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Medero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Caetano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chaleco AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
