Severo Ciceron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Foro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Benicio Marin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Nirihau AFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Edgard Gelacio hit a great ball. In the 25th minute Gu Shi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Salvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match, Gu Shi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Leonardo Salvino was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Amado Guzman scored 1-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo Salvino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Nirihau AFC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Hector Galoer hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gu Shi to make the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, Nirihau AFC's Pedro Foro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severo Ciceron was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in C A colon's zone, Prudencio Dantae stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severo Ciceron came out of the goal and Prudencio Dantae tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nirihau AFC's Leonardo Salvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gu Shi in the 61st minute of play. Gu Shi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gu Shi in the 72nd minute of play forced Nirihau AFC's goalkeeper Leonardo Salvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Salvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Guzman, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 90 played minutes Nirihau AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Foro. Amado Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Salvino having to interfere. Leonardo Salvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Guzman, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After 95 played minutes Nirihau AFC got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Rojelio. In the 97th minute, Teodosio Fix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the C A colon players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
