Gerardo Rocendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Shantala, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Gerardo Rocendo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herminio Eneas went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Gerardo Rocendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Shantala in the 22nd minute of play. Gerardo Rocendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Shantala in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Guillelmus in the 24th minute of play forced Coranzulí's goalkeeper Gerardo Rocendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th match minute, Coranzulí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Aragones to maneuver through the defense. Gerardo Rocendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Dacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Hilario Bartuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Coranzulí's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Eneas came free, but Gerardo Rocendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Pedro Shantala left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nazareno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Gerardo Rocendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Eneas, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute Pedro Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Rocendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Nazareno's Herminio Eneas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gerardo Rocendo. That made the score 0-5 after 52 minutes of play. Fidel Feo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Gerardo Rocendo made a huge save. After 62 played minutes Nazareno got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Dacio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Guillelmus in the 67th minute of play forced Coranzulí's goalkeeper Gerardo Rocendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Herminio Eneas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gerardo Rocendo. The goal made the score 0-8. Gerardo Rosio's late challenge caught a Nazareno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Rosio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Coranzulí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Rosio to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Hulberto was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Herminio Eneas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Gerardo Rocendo made a huge save. 81 minutes into the match, Esteve Dacio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gerardo Rocendo, 0-9. In the 84th minute, Remigio Guillelmus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herminio Eneas got free with Gerardo Rocendo in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gerardo Rocendo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remigio Guillelmus in the 88th minute. Pedro Shantala kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 94th minute of the match, Herminio Eneas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gerardo Rocendo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Nazareno booed when Coranzulí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Aragones didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Narciso Hulberto in the 96th minute really tested Gerardo Rocendo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Nazareno's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
