Javier Perez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Silvestre Maurino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, La Viola de Betito's Teodosio Rameriz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Javier Perez narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodosio Rameriz was the one to do the kick off. Javier Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Ekialde in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Silvestre Maurino made a precise shot to the right of Atilano Marquez. La Viola de Betito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Javier Perez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silvestre Maurino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The La Viola de Betito fans cheered their team off the field, for while Malvinas Argentinas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
