Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Juan Edwardo kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Buenos Aires getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Blas Froila hit a great ball. Jeremias Elodio kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Esteban Reynardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Evaristo Soter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Buenos Aires's Evaristo Soter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Edwardo in the 17th minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Dalmacio Chorache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buenos Aires's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Chorache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dalmacio Chorache in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godfredo Laurendi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Esteban Reynardo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Buenos Aires's Severino Urtsua got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Buenos Aires's Higinio Abechuco got a free kick in the 39th minute. When Tomas Hernando fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GPS FC's protests and gave Tomas Hernando a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes GPS FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Hernando. Dalmacio Chorache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Laurendi having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Severino Urtsua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Dalmacio Chorache made the kick off in the second half. When Gogo Txurio fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GPS FC's protests and gave Gogo Txurio a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Buenos Aires got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Kauldi. In the 58th minute, Esteban Reynardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dalmacio Chorache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st match minute, GPS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Hernando to maneuver through the defense. When Dalmacio Chorache came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Buenos Aires fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Chorache couldn't finish the play. Evaristo Soter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteban Reynardo's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Esteban Reynardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Buenos Aires's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Reynardo came free, but Evaristo Soter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evaristo Soter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Edwardo in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Esteban Reynardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Soter. Buenos Aires's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteban Reynardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Dalmacio Chorache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Buenos Aires walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
