Severino Pagomari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Jago in the 6th minute of play. Prospero Tancredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alejandro Berriotxoa fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Rojo de Mardel's protests and gave Alejandro Berriotxoa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Alejandro Berriotxoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severino Pagomari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Emeterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmiro Atarrabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopoldo Arnas made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Prospero Tancredo sent off a good shot on target. Severino Pagomari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Gonzo in the 23rd minute of the match. Andres Llorienzo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Nahueve AFC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Arnas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prospero Tancredo. After a defensive mix-up in El Rojo de Mardel's zone, Arsenio Gonzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Pagomari came out of the goal and Arsenio Gonzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Amado Sidro made the kick off in the second half. Joel Lain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Severino Pagomari made a huge save. A collision led to Nahueve AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Delmiro Atarrabi hit a great ball. Amado Sidro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 59th minute Delmiro Atarrabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Pagomari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Pagomari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Atarrabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 63 minutes, Joel Lain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nahueve AFC and the El Rojo de Mardel players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leopoldo Arnas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Tancredo in the 65th minute of play. When Amado Sidro came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the El Rojo de Mardel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Sidro couldn't finish the play. If Amado Sidro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Severino Pagomari made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arsenio Gonzo in the 72nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arsenio Gonzo got free with Severino Pagomari in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, Arsenio Gonzo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Severino Pagomari. The goal made the score 1-2. Nahueve AFC's Arsenio Gonzo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 78th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Leopoldo Arnas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anibal Indar's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. With an all-out effort, Nahueve AFC's Severino Pagomari threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ariel Emeterio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 94 minutes into the match, Arsenio Gonzo notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of El Rojo de Mardel's Severino Pagomari. Severino Pagomari was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Nahueve AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nahueve AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
