Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Apolo Rey made the kick off which started today's match. Rene Frisco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Apolo Rey's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Apolo Rey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rene Frisco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After 18 minutes Mataro AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fausto Ponciano who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Alto Valle FC's corner Fausto Ponciano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edgard Rodas quite easily take care of the ball. Mataro AFC's Edgard Rodas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Enetz in the 21st minute of play. After 25 played minutes Alto Valle FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Suarez. If Apolo Rey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Rey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Apolo Francho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rene Frisco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Fabian Bertol charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Bertol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th match minute, Alto Valle FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Bertol to maneuver through the defense. Alto Valle FC's Rene Frisco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Ermano in the 43rd minute of play. Llorenc Lazcano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Enetz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edgard Rodas made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ramiro Suarez sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 57 in the game by Ramiro Suarez from a close distance when the talented Edgard Rodas managed to make a qualified save. Mataro AFC's players were relieved. 58 minutes into the match, Mataro AFC's goalkeeper Edgard Rodas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Suarez. Serafino Xacintu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute of the match Javier Bero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgard Rodas skillfully saved the ball. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mataro AFC's goalkeeper Edgard Rodas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Mataro AFC fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Mataro AFC's Apolo Rey looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Alto Valle FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Javier Bero hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Alto Valle FC's zone, Apolo Rey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Frisco came out of the goal and Apolo Rey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the game, Apolo Rey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Rene Frisco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hector Dei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Rodas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Enetz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mataro AFC fully deserved thier win.
