An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Chus in the 11th minute of play forced Roosevelt FC's goalkeeper Ambrosio Jorrin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Panambí's Laureano Chus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ambrosio Jorrin. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. With a little luck, Roosevelt FC's Ambrosio Jorrin got control of the ball when Fausto Francho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Roosevelt FC's goalkeeper Ambrosio Jorrin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Francho. After 20 played minutes Roosevelt FC got a freekick which was hit by Vefa Onatkan. Ambrosio Jorrin made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Luis Ferdinand sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th match minute, Panambí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Ferdinand to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Panambí's Teobaldo Bonifaco got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Erasmo Aragones took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinicio Evarado. Vinicio Evarado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Erasmo Aragones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Vinicio Evarado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Damaso Jax managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roosevelt FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Damaso Jax was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinicio Evarado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 38 minutes, Prudencio Hats mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panambí and the Roosevelt FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Panambí getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Prudencio Hats hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Roosevelt FC's goalkeeper Ambrosio Jorrin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
The wind increased when Damaso Jax made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Panambí's zone, Erasmo Aragones stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Evarado came out of the goal and Erasmo Aragones tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Panambí's Vinicio Evarado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Panambí from getting a goal against them. After 54 minutes, Evaristo Lop mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panambí and the Roosevelt FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Panambí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Lop to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Erasmo Aragones got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Panambí's zone, Erasmo Aragones stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Evarado came out of the goal and Erasmo Aragones tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Panambí:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Roosevelt FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 63 minutes, Roosevelt FC's Erasmo Aragones got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Vinicio Evarado. 67 minutes into the match, Roosevelt FC's Damaso Jax sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vinicio Evarado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 68th minute of the game, Vefa Onatkan landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 69 minutes of play Panambí's Evaristo Lop was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Roosevelt FC's Geronimo Hustaz was substituted for Vefa Onatkan. The supporters of Roosevelt FC booed when Panambí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Lop didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute Erasmo Aragones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Evarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
