The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ernesto Iratzes short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Siro Orixe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Higinio Rozarius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Jordy in the 8th minute of play. Siro Orixe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Telo in the 11th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ernesto Iratze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siro Orixe was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Higinio Rozarius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Liberto in the 20th minute of play. Ernesto Iratze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Modesto Liberto hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Andres Barrionuevo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Siro Orixe having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Ernesto Iratze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siro Orixe was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. If Ramon Telo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Angelo Berto came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Patagones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Berto couldn't finish the play. When Ernesto Iratze came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Naranjito fans jumped to their feet. Ramon Telo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Siro Orixe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
Siro Orixe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Iratze's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After 57th play minutes Ernesto Iratze shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Siro Orixe and just under the crossbar into goal. Siro Orixe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Iratze in the 62nd minute of the match. Siro Orixe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernesto Iratze went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Naranjito getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Alto Wach hit a great ball. Naranjito's Claudio Cefero was substituted for Edelmiro Gelacio. After a rather tough play, Naranjito's Alto Wach got a free kick in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Iratze in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Orixe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Siro Orixe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Telo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramon Telo struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Siro Orixe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Naranjito. Jonatan Reno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Higinio Rozarius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Naranjito fans cheered their team off the field, for while Patagones had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
