An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Dalström in the 27th minute of play forced NOT AFRAID's goalkeeper Raimundo Gitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th match minute, NOT AFRAID was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Henry to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Yosua Cabezas managed to get in a good position for a shot. With an all-out effort, WEST BUSCAS ATHLETIC CLUB's Raimundo Gitano threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yosua Cabezas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cayetano Tome to make the kick off. WEST BUSCAS ATHLETIC CLUB's Yosua Cabezas managed to work through NOT AFRAID's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. The audience was convinced that Yosua Cabezas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimundo Gitano was relentless in the 64th minute of the game.
