Vinicio Furtado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Gobernador Costa F.C's Eleuterio Asur got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Isidoro Dunixi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Locaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Vinicio Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Victorio Chano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gobernador Costa F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Fabian Locaio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vinicio Furtado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Vinicio Furtado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Asur, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Victorio Chano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliano Tano hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Escalante's Vinicio Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Asur in the 33rd minute of play. Ezequiel Ralondo made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Isidoro Dunixi sent off a good shot on target. Victorio Chano struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Vinicio Furtado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gobernador Costa F.C. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, Escalante's Vinicio Furtado got control of the ball when Fabian Locaio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Escalante booed when Gobernador Costa F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Chano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Joseph hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Segundo Sabino got free with Vinicio Furtado in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st match minute, Escalante was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Tano to maneuver through the defense. After 73 played minutes Escalante got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Resto. In the 74th minute, Leandro Santikurtz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eleuterio Asur got free with Vinicio Furtado in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eleuterio Asur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vinicio Furtado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eleuterio Asur showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 89 minute of play. Ezequiel Ralondo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justo Quintan's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Gobernador Costa F.C played a much better game than Escalante and deserved their victory. The Escalante players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
