The SENIORS UNITED fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Delmar Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Francho acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Federico Iruinea. Putos Peronistas's Jorge Francho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miromir Mazierski in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Pierres in the 38th minute of play forced SENIORS UNITED's goalkeeper Ingmar Bermanseder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes Putos Peronistas got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Eufemio. Miromir Mazierski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jorge Francho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miromir Mazierski in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Francho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blas Nalo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Putos Peronistas getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Filomeno Edur hit a great ball. After 57 minutes Putos Peronistas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victorino Santxol who took care of the corner kick. In the 69th minute of the match, Amador Pierres got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ingmar Bermanseder was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 71 minutes into the match, Putos Peronistas's goal looked a bit too open when Miromir Mazierski came free, but Jorge Francho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorino Santxol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Francho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Jorge Francho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miromir Mazierski's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Amador Pierres's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ingmar Bermanseder firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 81st minute Blas Nalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingmar Bermanseder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Francho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Lidon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Putos Peronistas's Blas Nalo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Guaberto Emesto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jorge Francho. Putos Peronistas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Delmar Lidon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jorge Francho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute Delmar Lidon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Francho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingmar Bermanseder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Pierres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SENIORS UNITED's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
