Spectators: 5148 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 148) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Victorino Santxol got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Cipriano Jaume ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ingmar Bermanseder was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of SENIORS UNITED booed when FC Goretti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Gonsalve didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Miromir Mazierski managed to get in a good position for a shot. SENIORS UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Miromir Mazierski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celestino Txema breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victorino Santxol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Celestino Txema made a huge save. Celestino Txema stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miromir Mazierski's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Ingmar Bermanseder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Koldobika in the 21st minute of play. Victorino Santxol's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Celestino Txema skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 23rd minute, Miromir Mazierski fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When SENIORS UNITED's Miromir Mazierski in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Goretti's goalie prevented a goal. If Miromir Mazierski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30thth minute of the game Miromir Mazierski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Goretti's Celestino Txema was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Victorino Santxol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miromir Mazierski had several of the FC Goretti's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Celestino Txema as he didn't even see the shot coming. A hard shot 38 in the game by Victorino Santxol from a close distance when the talented Celestino Txema managed to make a qualified save. FC Goretti's players were relieved. FC Goretti's Danilo Eusko got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Eusko in the 42nd minute of play forced SENIORS UNITED's goalkeeper Ingmar Bermanseder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Danilo Eusko was the one to do the kick off. FC Goretti's Celestino Txema played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Santxol in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 played minutes Danilo Eusko rounded SENIORS UNITED's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in SENIORS UNITED's zone, Casimiro Maura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingmar Bermanseder came out of the goal and Casimiro Maura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danilo Eusko took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ingmar Bermanseder. Ingmar Bermanseder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Guaberto Emesto hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Celestino Txema took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Santxol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute Victorino Santxol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Txema saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Victorino Santxol fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SENIORS UNITED's protests and gave Victorino Santxol a yellow card for diving instead. Victorino Santxol hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 3-5 became the score in the 80th minute when Casimiro Maura elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 90 played minutes, SENIORS UNITED's Guaberto Emesto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Celestino Txema came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SENIORS UNITED reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miromir Mazierski in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celestino Txema saved FC Goretti from getting behind. Celestino Txema made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miromir Mazierski in the 92nd minute of play. Celestino Txema took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Santxol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miromir Mazierski took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celestino Txema. Celestino Txema dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-5. The FC Goretti supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Goretti would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
