The Club Atlético Tigre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anibal Nesto should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Club Atlético Tigre booed when Frontera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Eufrasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcial Pelagius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witalis Mleczewski in the 25th minute of the match. Club Atlético Tigre's Pascual Cerilo got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Atlético Tigre's Anibal Nesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Eufrasio in the 32nd minute of play. Marcial Pelagius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascual Cerilo in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frontera's goalkeeper Marcial Pelagius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club Atlético Tigre had played much better football throughout.
