Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silvano Palben started the match with the kick off. Santo Leheren kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Medinas's Rogelio Argider sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaudencio Theobald narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Silvano Palben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Asur having to interfere. Amador Fanuco scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Agustin Asur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amador Fanuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvano Palben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Asur having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Cayetano Ticho notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Medinas's Agustin Asur. Agustin Asur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 27th minute Silvano Palben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Asur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Lohitzun hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Basilio Ondino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaudencio Theobald. SDF Chimuelo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basilio Ondino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Baltasar Etxahun hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Gaudencio Theobald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Argider, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogelio Argider made a kick off. When Marcial Lohitzun came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Medinas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcial Lohitzun couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute Basilio Ondino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Theobald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Silvano Palben managed to get in a good position for a shot. SDF Chimuelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvano Palben was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Asur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaudencio Theobald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Ondino, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Silvano Palben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Amador Fanuco could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Agustin Asur however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to SDF Chimuelo getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Santo Leheren hit a great ball. Amador Fanuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaudencio Theobald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Lohitzun in the 90th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the SDF Chimuelo players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
