Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 3 played minutes Colón FC got a freekick which was hit by Teo Barrionuevo. Prudencio Jacob charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prudencio Jacob the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benjamin Lobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Toribio, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Deportivo Union Central's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Toribio came free, but Benjamin Lobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidro Canor scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Lobo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute, Pedro Toribio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colón FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Americo Cilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Tancredo in the 21st minute of play. Benjamin Lobo came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Colón FC's Pedro Toribio. But to his dismay, Pedro Toribio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Benjamin Lobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Toribio in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute Gaspar Hodei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Lobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Gaspar Hodei notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Deportivo Union Central's Benjamin Lobo. Benjamin Lobo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Deportivo Union Central defense, Pedro Toribio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Lobo. The Deportivo Union Central fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Lobo should have stopped the shot. After the first half Colón FC were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 52 minutes of play, Colón FC's Pedro Toribio made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamin Lobo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emilio Quiroga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deportivo Union Central's Benjamin Lobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Toribio in the 58th minute of play. 0-9 became the score in the 59th minute when Gaspar Hodei elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Benjamin Lobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Hodei in the 63rd minute of the match. After 65 played minutes Deportivo Union Central got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Abilio. 68 minutes into the game, Colón FC's Isidro Canor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Lobo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. In the 71st play minute Pedro Toribio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benjamin Lobo. 0-11. Pedro Toribio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Gaspar Hodei took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Benjamin Lobo to make any attempt to save it. Benjamin Lobo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florencio Franco in the 81st minute. Colón FC were furious when Prudencio Jacob was red carded, 84 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 85th minute, Prudencio Jacob hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Florencio Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 played minutes Colón FC got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Franco. Colón FC played a much better game than Deportivo Union Central and deserved their victory. The Deportivo Union Central players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
