Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gaspar Hodei kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, CHICAGO FC's Long Bo Yang got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Florencio Franco's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Cipriano Dimas - 1-0 was put on the score board in the 3rd minute. In the 7th minute Gaspar Hodei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidro Canor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Cipriano Dimas made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Hodei in the 15th minute of play forced CHICAGO FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Dimas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Toribio got free with Cipriano Dimas in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute, Gaspar Hodei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cipriano Dimas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Uriel Juvenal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Cipriano Dimas made a huge save. 24 minutes into the match, Pedro Toribio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cipriano Dimas. CHICAGO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Toribio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 27 minutes of play, Colón FC's Gaspar Hodei made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cipriano Dimas was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to CHICAGO FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jithu Vijiaratnam hit a great ball. Cipriano Dimas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Toribio in the 39th minute. 44 minutes into the game, Gaspar Hodei recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cipriano Dimas. Gaspar Hodei showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. Cipriano Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Hodei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernesto Horado to make the kick off. Cipriano Dimas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Toribio in the 51st minute of the match. After 53 minutes, Evelio Tiadoro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CHICAGO FC and the Colón FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Evelio Tiadoro kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Canor in the 56th minute of play forced CHICAGO FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Dimas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Gaspar Hodei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Toribio during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cipriano Dimas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Colón FC booed when CHICAGO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Tiadoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Gaspar Hodei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Cipriano Dimas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 70 minutes into the match, CHICAGO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Franco came free, but Cipriano Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Toribio took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cipriano Dimas. Cipriano Dimas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. After a defensive mix-up in CHICAGO FC's zone, Gaspar Hodei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Dimas came out of the goal and Gaspar Hodei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, CHICAGO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Canor came free, but Cipriano Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in CHICAGO FC's zone, Florencio Franco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaspar Hodei took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cipriano Dimas. Cipriano Dimas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. The audience was convinced that Pedro Toribio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cipriano Dimas was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Colón FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of CHICAGO FC for a fine match.
