In the 34th minute, Arnoldo Celipe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Palmira AFC booed when Zentena FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Bastian didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 39 minutes on the clock, Isaac Lidon commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Leonel Quirze had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping Arnoldo Celipe's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Bihar in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonel Quirze saved Zentena FC from getting behind. Jeremias Bihar struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Leonel Quirze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmira AFC. Mariano Estebano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Eduardo Raitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Zentena FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Valentin Leheren hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 51st minute, Arnoldo Celipe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palmira AFC's goalkeeper Eduardo Raitin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonel Quirze came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Palmira AFC's Jeremias Bihar. But to his dismay, Jeremias Bihar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The supporters of Zentena FC booed when Palmira AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Celipe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Palmira AFC's zone, Mariano Estebano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Raitin came out of the goal and Mariano Estebano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonel Quirze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Bihar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Quirze didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aaron Basualdo went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Palmira AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
