The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amadeo Louis was the one to do the kick off. Amado Sasoin was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Albino Dimo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Albino Dimo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. 70 minutes into the match, Sportivo DeContra's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Mantzio came free, but Hermengildo Gonsalvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Libertador Nacional getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Rigoberto Cibran hit a great ball. Hermengildo Gonsalvo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Errando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 80 minutes, Albino Dimo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo DeContra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albino Dimo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amado Sasoin stood somewhat misplaced when Carlinhos Barros came free in front of goal and shot 2-4 to the left of him in the 82 minute. 88 minutes into the game, Silvinho Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo DeContra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Libertador Nacional the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sportivo DeContra fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! Fermin Adrio got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 95th minute, one of Libertador Nacional:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Libertador Nacional. Silvinho Cunha shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Sportivo DeContra's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
