In the 12th minute Cristian Eleazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Hodei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Berart in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Gumaro saved Fiambrín y Cantimpalo from getting behind. 15 minutes into the match, Artemio Otoniel notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gonzalitos's Ciriaco Hodei. Ciriaco Hodei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gonzalitos's Ciriaco Hodei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Eleazar in the 42nd minute of play. The Gonzalitos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fiambrín y Cantimpalo were winning 0-2.

Gonzalitos's Ciriaco Hodei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Elazar in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Wilfredo Berart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute Robustiano Ursino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Hodei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Ciriaco Hodei successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Artemio Otoniel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Ciriaco Hodei made a huge save. Ciriaco Hodei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Elazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robustiano Ursino struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Ciriaco Hodei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fiambrín y Cantimpalo. When Maximino Pere fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gonzalitos's protests and gave Maximino Pere a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes Gonzalitos got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Pere. Artemio Otoniel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Ciriaco Hodei made a huge save. Artemio Otoniel succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 69th playminute. In the 79th minute, Ernesto Uxio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gonzalitos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The Fiambrín y Cantimpalo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Gumaro should have stopped the shot. Ciriaco Hodei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Otoniel in the 93rd minute of the match. A collision led to Fiambrín y Cantimpalo getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Cristobal Claude hit a great ball. The Gonzalitos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fiambrín y Cantimpalo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
