In the 22nd minute, Abel Casomiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Gumaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Abel Casomiro sped through Kinder F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benjamin Gumaro. When Fidel Rufo fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chacarita jrs's protests and gave Fidel Rufo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chacarita jrs getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Fidel Rufo hit a great ball. Abel Casomiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Benjamin Gumaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melchor Sugoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Benjamin Gumaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Gitano in the 90th minute of play. Leo Gitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Gumaro having to interfere. Benjamin Gumaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Gitano, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Chacarita jrs were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
