Justino Ascencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Fernando Garci made a huge save. 21 minutes into the game, Justino Ascencio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Fernando Garci was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 24th minute, Marcos Lopez made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Garci. Toay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 28th minute of the match, Marcos Lopez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fernando Garci saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcos Lopez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernando Garci. That made the score 5-0 in the 30 minute of play. Toay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Toay's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Lopez came free, but Fernando Garci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Toay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Bizi to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Fernando Garci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atahona FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Toay the free kick. After 96 played minutes Atahona FC got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Soin. There was no doubt that Atahona FC were the better team. Atahona FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
