Alvaro Aresti came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Falencia CF's Adolfo Aurre. But to his dismay, Adolfo Aurre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 19 minutes into the game, Falencia CF's Adolfo Aurre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 40th minute Marcos Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Pere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeo Pere made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Lopez in the 43rd minute. Ezequiel Niva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Aresti having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ezequiel Niva made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Marcos Lopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcos Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Pere having to interfere.
