Saturnino Pancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Fernando Garci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Pancho in the 13th minute of play forced Toay's goalkeeper Fernando Garci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th match minute, Toay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Canor to maneuver through the defense. Cleto Elazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Garci having to interfere. Fernando Garci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Pancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Toay's zone, Saturnino Pancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Garci came out of the goal and Saturnino Pancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Garci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Pancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cleto Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saturnino Pancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute, Saturnino Pancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Garci was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Saturnino Pancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the game, Eulalio Canor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave los troncos the free kick. Eulalio Canor hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Rigoberto Fernanco was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Toay's Fernando Garci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Fernanco in the 47th minute of play. Orlando Opilano's late challenge caught a los troncos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlando Opilano helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Toay getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Orlando Opilano hit a great ball. Rigoberto Fernanco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Garci having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orlando Opilano made a kick off. Toay's Fernando Garci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Fernanco in the 57th minute of play. los troncos's attentive Cleto Elazar managed to snatch the ball when Lucas Videl made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. Saturnino Pancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Fernanco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Fernando Garci was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Toay's zone, Saturnino Pancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat.
