The penalty shot was made by Remigio Artal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Futbol Moderno F.C's Reynaldo Blanco. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Celestino Hartz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mussi's supporters rose to their feet, but Celestino Hartz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Blanco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 63 minutes, Roberto Gauargi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mussi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Gauargi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guillermo Urtats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Goi having to interfere. In the 68th minute Celestino Hartz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Blanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, Futbol Moderno F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Macias to maneuver through the defense. After 74 played minutes, Mussi's Remigio Artal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reynaldo Blanco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mussi reached it. In the 76th minute, Mussi's Filiberto Transito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Reynaldo Blanco. Reynaldo Blanco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 78 minutes into the match, Futbol Moderno F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Hartz came free, but Reynaldo Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celestino Hartz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Reynaldo Blanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Roberto Gauargi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mussi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Reynaldo Blanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Gaur in the 93rd minute of the match. Roberto Gauargi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mussi eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
