Pulares FC's Quilo Quintana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Eneto in the 12th minute of play. Ivan Belarmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Israel Bernabel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Quilo Quintana firmly grabbed it by the left post. Isac Lundqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Quilo Quintana made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Los Picantes's Gustavo Osorio got a free kick in the 24th minute. Esteban Ovando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Piarres, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Victoriano Millrick notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Pulares FC's Quilo Quintana. Quilo Quintana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pulares FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Quilo Quintana, was totally fooled by Los Picantes's Genaro Bela, who 44 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 47th match minute, Pulares FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Misael to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, Pulares FC's goalkeeper Quilo Quintana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Genaro Bela.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabricio Dayam made a kick off. A collision led to Pulares FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Fabricio Dayam hit a great ball. In the 57th minute Israel Bernabel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quilo Quintana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pulares FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jimeno Maidana in the 64th minute. The corner led Pulares FC's Jimeno Maidana to fire away a dangerous shot which Esteban Ovando despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Quilo Quintana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Millrick in the 67th minute of play. Los Picantes were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Pulares FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Genaro Bela took the corner. The corner led Los Picantes's Genaro Bela to fire away a dangerous shot which Quilo Quintana despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Krawczyk in the 72nd minute of play forced Pulares FC's goalkeeper Quilo Quintana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 74 minutes, Ivan Belarmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Daniel Misael didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute, Genaro Bela sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pulares FC's Quilo Quintana didn't even have to move. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Los Picantes had played much better football throughout.
