Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dalmacio Urtats took the kick off in the first half of the match. Samuel Lehoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Urtats in the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Weterio in the 6th minute of play forced Jasimaná's goalkeeper Emilio Pacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Pacho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Weterio in the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Jasimaná's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Montez came free, but Emilio Pacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Zeledon Librado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jasimaná's Emilio Pacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Lauaxeta in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Servando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jasimaná's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chicoana AFC the free kick. Arnaldo Servando hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Zeledon Librado could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Samuel Lehoi however easily saved by the left post. Marcos Weterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chicoana AFC's goalkeeper Samuel Lehoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Chicoana AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Artemio Lertxun hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Librado got free with Samuel Lehoi in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when Jonatan Acosta put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Jasimaná:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chicoana AFC:s goal. Emilio Pacho went to the wrong direction when Marcos Weterio was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Eustacio Cordera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Emilio Pacho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Paulo Ricart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jasimaná and the Chicoana AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jasimaná's Paulo Ricart got a free kick in the 39th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Melquiades Lauaxeta made the kick off in the second half. A wasted opportunity for Jasimaná. 63 minutes into the match, Jasimaná's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Osmundo came free, but Emilio Pacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Chicoana AFC's Melquiades Lauaxeta to a score. 0-1 in the 65th minute. Chicoana AFC's Samuel Lehoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Librado in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Zeledon Librado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jasimaná fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Dalmacio Urtats fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jasimaná's protests and gave Dalmacio Urtats a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chicoana AFC booed when Jasimaná was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Urtats didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeledon Librado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Jasimaná booed when Chicoana AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Lertxun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute of the match, Melquiades Lauaxeta got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emilio Pacho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Anibal Paulin fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chicoana AFC's protests and gave Anibal Paulin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute Chicoana AFC were awarded a corner. Marcos Weterio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Marcos Weterio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jasimaná's Emilio Pacho did a great save. In the 95th match minute, Jasimaná was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Bonifaco to maneuver through the defense. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
