Hector Goren hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, CICLON.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Videl came free, but Emiliano Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CICLON.FC's Emiliano Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Txatxu in the 15th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Godfredo Iraido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CICLON.FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palomitas the free kick. Godfredo Iraido hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 43 played minutes CICLON.FC got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Åke Björnsson. CICLON.FC's Emiliano Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Videl in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mo Bo Bang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filomeno Gaztea got free with Emiliano Martínez in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emiliano Martínez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Gaztea, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Norberto Francis came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by CICLON.FC's Marcos Urti. But to his dismay, Marcos Urti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CICLON.FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Palomitas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
