After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Eliseo Handi managed to get in a good position for a shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Furtado in the 41st minute of play forced Titi club's goalkeeper Edgardo Xabat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Marcos Raulo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Titi club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corbett the free kick. After 42 played minutes Titi club got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Raulo. If Emilio Chesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corbett's Cipriano Mateo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Corbett from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roque Illan to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicolas Gelmiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Edgardo Xabat made a huge save. 55 minutes into the match, Corbett's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Handi came free, but Cipriano Mateo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Marcos Raulo made a precise shot to the right of Cipriano Mateo. Corbett's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Eliseo Handi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Emilio Chesus was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Ruperto Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corbett's protests and gave Ruperto Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. Ruperto Furtado hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute of the match Eliseo Handi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cipriano Mateo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute of the match, Emilio Chesus tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edgardo Xabat saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cipriano Mateo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Laffitte in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Handi in the 76th minute of play forced Corbett's goalkeeper Cipriano Mateo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roque Illan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgardo Xabat was a little too slow when Nicolas Gelmiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 4-3. If Emilio Chesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Xabat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Chesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
