The Patricio Rey fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iker Iraunkor should have stopped the shot. Silvestre Artizar struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Daniel Gniewek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patricio Rey. Silvestre Artizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Gniewek having to interfere. Cipriano Jerold took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iker Iraunkor. Iker Iraunkor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Iker Iraunkor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Jerold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvestre Artizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Gniewek having to interfere. Daniel Gniewek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Danel in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Gaypón's Roman Lia got a free kick in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Elpidio Perez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iker Iraunkor. Patricio Rey's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elpidio Perez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Iker Iraunkor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Jerold, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Silvestre Artizar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Patricio Rey fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 39th minute Nestor Mitxaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Iraunkor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Mitxaut in the 41st minute of play forced Patricio Rey's goalkeeper Iker Iraunkor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Marco Lia in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Patricio Rey's Ruperto Pinto. 45 minutes into the match, Gaypón's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Artizar came free, but Daniel Gniewek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Roman Lia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gaypón's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Patricio Rey the free kick. Patricio Rey's Igor Danel got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Silvestre Artizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iker Iraunkor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Mitxaut in the 60th minute of the match. 67 minutes in the game Gaston Chuan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Elpidio Perez. A collision led to Patricio Rey getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Igor Danel hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaypón's Nestor Mitxaut slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iker Iraunkor. That made the score 1-4 after 68 minutes of play. After 72 played minutes Nestor Mitxaut rounded Patricio Rey's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5. Cipriano Jerold succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-6 in the 75th playminute. Gregorio Fiz kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Igor Danel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 86 minutes of play, Gaypón's Cipriano Jerold made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iker Iraunkor was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th minute Nestor Mitxaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Iraunkor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes in the game Gaston Chuan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Elpidio Perez. In the 93rd minute of the match, Nestor Mitxaut tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Iker Iraunkor saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
