Spectators: 7100 (Terracing: 5325, Seating: 1633, VIP seats: 142) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anacleto Naike got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Duré FC's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Pueblo came free, but Gregorio Chorache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 3rd match minute, Duré FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Miliano to maneuver through the defense. Prudencio Pueblo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Gregorio Chorache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregorio Chorache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Gaitan, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Serafino Fiz kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Anacleto Naike could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Reynaldo Elequemedo made a huge save. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Independiente's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jeremias Vincent was slow to take the kick. During this time Duré FC's players had a chance to rest. Tiburcio Ramone thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Reynaldo Elequemedo, a very annoying self made goal in the 27th minute which led to 1-0. Gregorio Chorache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Pueblo in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Duré FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Ramone came free, but Gregorio Chorache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Nemesio Gaitan notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Duré FC's Gregorio Chorache. Gregorio Chorache was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Prudencio Pueblo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Duré FC defense, Martin Iaki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregorio Chorache. The Duré FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregorio Chorache should have stopped the shot. Gregorio Chorache didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Iaki went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Martin Iaki made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nemesio Gaitan during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Gaitan. Reynaldo Elequemedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Guilherme Leme in the 56th minute of the match. Gregorio Chorache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Iaki, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Gregorio Chorache made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Nemesio Gaitan sent off a good shot on target. Reynaldo Elequemedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Naike in the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Martin Iaki recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gregorio Chorache. Martin Iaki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. In the 78th minute Nemesio Gaitan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Chorache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duré FC's Gregorio Chorache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Iaki in the 79th minute of play. Gregorio Chorache didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Iaki went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Duré FC's Gregorio Chorache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Gaitan in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 played minutes Martin Iaki rounded Duré FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-8. The Duré FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Independiente were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
