In the 9th minute Luis Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Panfilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomás Ekain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Panfilo having to interfere. In the 12th match minute, Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Domeka to maneuver through the defense. Gavino Gaskon was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Talleres! In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Zubillaga AFC. Ricardo Laurendi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Epifanio Panfilo. 0-1. Gilberto Jaunti acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 26th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Benjamin Fiz. Emilio Gabirel's late challenge caught a Talleres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Gabirel helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Zubillaga AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! 35 minutes into the match, Zubillaga AFC's goalkeeper Gilberto Jaunti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Rosio. Luis Gines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Gines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Epifanio Panfilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Talleres's Conrado Rosio got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Ortle to maneuver through the defense. If Tomás Ekain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Luis Giness short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Epifanio Panfilo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 54th minute of the match Victorio Ortle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilberto Jaunti skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 55 minutes, Conrado Rosio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Rosio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomás Ekain might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Epifanio Panfilo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Ekain ran back to his position shaking his head. When Cipriano Figueroa fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talleres's protests and gave Cipriano Figueroa a yellow card for diving instead. Cipriano Figueroa hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Luis Gines succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. With a little luck, Talleres's Epifanio Panfilo got control of the ball when Luis Gines tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cipriano Figueroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gilberto Jaunti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomás Ekain kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Epifanio Panfilo. That made the score 1-3 in the 72 minute of play. Gilberto Jaunti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Rosio in the 78th minute of the match. Bruno Urdin kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Luis Gines took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Epifanio Panfilo to make any attempt to save it. Bruno Urdin hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conrado Rosio in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Jaunti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomás Ekain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Panfilo having to interfere. When the match was over Zubillaga AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Talleres throughout the match.
