After 6 played minutes Fumatta FC got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Corderun. Astor Lico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Giro having to interfere. If Astor Lico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astor Lico kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of Fumatta FC booed when La Matera Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astor Lico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Florencio Giro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kleopas Seeholzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Frutos in the 25th minute of play. Dalmacio Orland took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florencio Giro. Florencio Giro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With a little luck, Fumatta FC's Florencio Giro got control of the ball when Astor Lico tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kleopas Seeholzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Pero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, La Matera Fútbol Club's Nicanor Beltxe got a free kick in the 36th minute. Victoriano Benino hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 42 minutes, Nicanor Beltxe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Matera Fútbol Club and the Fumatta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to La Matera Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Nicanor Beltxe hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Eustacio Corderun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fumatta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustacio Corderun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kleopas Seeholzer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Erubiel Pero fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fumatta FC's protests and gave Erubiel Pero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Erubiel Pero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Astor Lico made a kick off. Aurelio Bernabel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erubiel Pero kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Florencio Giro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Lico in the 55th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Fumatta FC's Kleopas Seeholzer threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eustacio Corderun, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 59th minute of the match Fumatta FC got a corner. La Matera Fútbol Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Geronimo Federigo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Geronimo Federigo made a great header on Fumatta FC's corner, it was just that La Matera Fútbol Club's Kleopas Seeholzer managed to reach the ball for a save. After 63 minutes of play, La Matera Fútbol Club's Astor Lico made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florencio Giro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Astor Lico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florencio Giro was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Eustacio Corderun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kleopas Seeholzer having to interfere. Astor Lico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicanor Beltxe in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florencio Giro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florencio Giro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Lico in the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Astor Lico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Giro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They thanked the players of Fumatta FC for a fine match.
