Fumatta FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Felix Frutos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 13th playminute. 16 minutes into the game, Geronimo Teodor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talleres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fumatta FC the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Teodor to maneuver through the defense. Epifanio Panfilo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustacio Corderun's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Fumatta FC's Florencio Giro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Txordon in the 55th minute of play. After 56 minutes of play Fumatta FC's Erasmo Eliu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. With a little luck, Fumatta FC's Florencio Giro got control of the ball when Victorio Ortle tried to sneak it across the goal line. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Florencio Giro. Desiderio Laurendi charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
