With a little luck, La Matera Fútbol Club's Kleopas Seeholzer got control of the ball when Geronimo Teodor tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Lico came free, but Epifanio Panfilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Matera Fútbol Club were furious when Zeno Devos was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. But to his dismay, Victorio Ortle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Talleres's Hilario Txordon got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kleopas Seeholzer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geronimo Teodor went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, La Matera Fútbol Club's Julian Beti got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The audience was convinced that Cipriano Figueroa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kleopas Seeholzer was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. The supporters of La Matera Fútbol Club booed when Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Teodor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Talleres fans cheered their team off the field, for while La Matera Fútbol Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
