Leandro Dabi struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Cornelio Larpe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los pibes de Boca. 23 minutes into the game, Serafino Sasoin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ciriaco Bartuelo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ciriaco Bartuelo came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by INDIGO CLUB's Filomeno Saturnin. But to his dismay, Filomeno Saturnin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 31st minute, Hernan Frutos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernan Frutos got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Hernan Frutos hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, INDIGO CLUB's Filomeno Saturnin got a free kick in the 37th minute. Maximo Semeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Larpe having to interfere. The supporters of Los pibes de Boca booed when INDIGO CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Gonza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornelio Larpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaby Milito in the 45th minute of play. Los pibes de Boca's Maximo Semeno got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Maximo Semeno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los pibes de Boca's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Semeno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Larpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Silvio Lehen made the kick off in the second half. Serafino Sasoin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Ciriaco Bartuelo made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leandro Dabi during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th minute, Leandro Dabi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Salvador Ricart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as INDIGO CLUB's Silvio Lehen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ciriaco Bartuelo. That made the score 0-4 after 64 minutes of play. If Filomeno Saturnin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filomeno Saturnin got free with Ciriaco Bartuelo in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 75 minutes of play, Los pibes de Boca's Cristóbal López made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelio Larpe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Los pibes de Boca's Ciriaco Bartuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Sasoin in the 79th minute of play. Cristóbal López fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Larpe having to interfere. Los pibes de Boca's Ceferino Urtzi got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciriaco Bartuelo was a little too slow when Serafino Sasoin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-5. INDIGO CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Filomeno Saturnin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Los pibes de Boca's Ciriaco Bartuelo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Los pibes de Boca from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Los pibes de Boca's Ciriaco Bartuelo got control of the ball when Serafino Sasoin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciriaco Bartuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Ricart in the 96th minute of play.
