The supporters of Deportivo Muñiz booed when Banfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Fortun didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andreas Soltveit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Deportivo Muñiz could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Banfield throughout the match.
