Spectators: 7425 (Terracing: 5570, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 148) Portugalete AFC's Ariel Santo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bernardo Iaki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Santo in the 3rd minute of play. Joaquin Locaio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicasio Sugoi in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Izel in the 6th minute of play forced Ferro carril Oeste's goalkeeper Bernardo Iaki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Portugalete AFC defense, Pedro Cordareo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Locaio. The Portugalete AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Locaio should have stopped the shot. Bernardo Iaki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After some careless play in the Ferro carril Oeste defense, Aurelio Izel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Iaki. The Ferro carril Oeste fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Iaki should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute, Ariel Santo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Iaki was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 27th minute Ariel Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Iaki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Cordareo had several of the Portugalete AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 30 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Joaquin Locaio as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Big Mikes got free with Joaquin Locaio in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquin Locaio was a little too slow when Pedro Cordareo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Martin Tome kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquin Locaio. That made the score 4-2 in the 38 minute of play. Pedro Cordareo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Joaquin Locaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Locaio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Cordareo's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Cordareo in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Locaio saved Portugalete AFC from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Cordareo to make the kick off. Martin Tome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Joaquin Locaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Iaki made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Aurelio Izel sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute Pedro Cordareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Locaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Tome struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Joaquin Locaio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferro carril Oeste. Pedro Cordareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Big Mikes struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Joaquin Locaio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferro carril Oeste. Pedro Cordareo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Locaio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Bernardo Iaki made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Aurelio Izel sent off a good shot on target. Joaquin Locaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Cordareo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After a rather tough play, Portugalete AFC's Modesto Harriet got a free kick in the 69th minute. A collision led to Portugalete AFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Urbano Nikola hit a great ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Ariel Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portugalete AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Santo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Pedro Cordareo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Locaio. Portugalete AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Cordareo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. 85 minutes into the match, Ariel Santo notched a goal, 6-3, to the right of Ferro carril Oeste's Bernardo Iaki. Bernardo Iaki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernardo Iaki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Harriet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Portugalete AFC's Joaquin Locaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Cordareo in the 90th minute of play. Bernardo Iaki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Santo in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ferro carril Oeste had won after a very even match.
